Second only to skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States and accounts for about 30% (or 1 in 3) of all new cancers each year.
The American Cancer Society recommends that women at average risk for breast cancer be screened at the following ages:
- Women between 40 and 44 can start screening with a mammogram every year.
- Women 45 to 54 should receive mammograms every year.
- Women 55 and older may choose to be screened every other year, or to continue yearly mammograms.
Adobe is committed to enhancing access to care and screenings for rural communities to empower effective care management.
